TotalBoat JD Select is a single-season, water-based ablative antifouling bottom paint that provides incredible results for a very low cost. It is low in VOCs and has no harsh fumes, making it ideal for marinas under environmental restrictions. It's also very easy to apply and cleans up easily with just soap and water.
JD Select can be brushed, rolled, or sprayed then burnished for a smooth, fuel-efficient finish. JD Select can be applied over most aged antifouling coats without fear of lifting.

Put 2 coats of this over 5 coats of epoxy barrier coat. We will see how it holds up but so far I am happy. I had ordered a gallon of this through amazon, but the can was damaged in transit and never arrived. I would recommend ordering directly through JD. The packaging is way better, the order includes a roller, tray, roller cover, gloves and a painting suit. Takes longer to ship but at least it shows up undamaged. Plus it comes with the extras for the same price as through amazon. The 2 coats used about 1/2 gallon on my Macgregor 26X.

The product was easy to use. I was able to put one coat on the entire water line and down with less than 1 gallon of paint for my 31 foot Sea Ray. I found the cleanup to be easy and the added perks of giving you a free paint suit, roller, roller handle, pan, tape, and sandpaper was a nice touch as well.
