Standard Foam Brushes for use with varnish, enamels, stains, latex, and oil paints. Not for use with shellac or lacquer. These foam brushes produce a great smooth finish and yet they are priced to be thrown-away when you are done.

I have been using Epiphanes to varnish Marine Bright Work for 50 years. Jen Foam Brushes are the only ones I use. Other foam brushes deteriorate and are not sturdy enough to properly allow the varish to flow and rsultbin streaks or "brush marks".

Have used JEN brushes for 20 years. They have maintained quality. Other foam brushes give out in an hour or less, will not hold up for the job.

I've used the 1" and 3" versions of these brushes with varnish, water-based primers and one-part polyurethane topcoats. I actually get better results with the foam brushes than with expensive natural bristle brushes. I'm a believer.

For a DIYer varnishing brightwork I find that foam brushes perform and produce an excellent final result. Use one for each coat then just throw away which saves time and brush cleaning fluid over using say a badger hair brush. I like the 2" foam and buy them by the box!

Don't waste money on other brushes that break off in your hand. Jen brand is the kind to buy.

These foam brushes worked great with TotalBoat Wet Edge topside paint. Did not fall apart or leave pieces behind after using the same brush for hours.

I use these for Awlwood and they hold up better than any other foam brush I've tried. I now use these exclusively
