Tessilmare rub rail kits are easy to install on just about any boat. Their no-heating required cold fitting design with easy to bend material saves time and results in a seamless, finished look without the hassle of traditional rub rail installs. Choose black or white in a wide range of pre-cut sizes (3 widths and 3 lengths).
Simply install the track on the hull using standard self-tapping screws (sold separately). Once the track is properly fitted, the rubber profile snaps into place on the track. Tessilmare kits are easier to install than the competition, last longer, and simply look neater than conventional multi-piece rub rails and hull guards.

The rub rail is very very nice and appears to be very durable. My only complaint is that it was not as easy to install as the video showed. We did have to heat it up to flow properly and the corners did not come out as nice as the video showed.

BUT WHEN I INSTALLED THE BASE PIECE AND THEN THE OUTSIDE RAIL TRIM I WAS SHOCKED AND COULDN'T BELIEVE THE QUALITY AND THE WAY IT LOOKS !!! AND NOT TO MENTION THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR TO PUT A RUB RAIL ON MY TWENTY ONE FOOT BOAT . I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE , THANK YOU JOE T

I installed the rub rail system on my Whaler and it went on as advertise! The issue - the end caps provided are useless! To complete the project it is advised I purchase stainless end caps for an additional $60.00 plus shipping. Now this system is not such a great value!!!

I purchased the 1.25" kit in black for my 1971 Boston Whaler Restore. I completed the project today and was so pleased I felt it was my duty to leave a few words here for the next guy/gal that may be considering this product. Installation was very easy. IBut there are a few trick I'd recommend. I would highly recommend purchasing a countersink that matches the #8 head of the stainless hardware used for the install. It's suggested of course, but with the right tool it not only countersinks the head but it also drills the pilot hole. The marine grade stainless is available via JD. I used the 1" length as it left no doubt. However, I know understand that a shorter screw would have worked just fine because of the countersinking. Final tip: the stuff is hard to work with when it's cold, so I tacked it up in about every 3rd screw location and then came back to finalize. Take some time and review the directions. I setup a test install on a 2x4 board prior to going to town on my freshly reworked gel coat. It made me feel good before drilling holes. I suggest it. It will ease your mind and make you feel confident. I also set each screw in with 3M 5200 to avoid any water penetration. The rubber rolls onto the rail very easily. Don't worry about that part at all.You pend it sharply near where you are putting it on and just keep bending and pushing as you go. I rolled mine out, about 30', in 3 minutes. Good luck!

FOR THE MONEY THEY CHARGE FOR PRESSED PLASTIC, THEY SHOULD THROW IN SOME POLISHED PRESSED STAINLESS END CAPS. THEY WOULD COST THE MFGR ABOUT 5 BUCKS. IT'S A PRETTY FAIR DEAL FOR THE MONEY, BUT IT NEEDS STAINLESS END CAPS.
