I purchased a box of gloves that turned out to be too fragile for my shop. I was wearing out the finger ends while sanding and using steel wool with solvents and stains. I checked to see what Jamestown had and then asked what the Jamestown community thought. I got three helpful responses that convinced me to purchase the Ammex 8 mil HD gloves. I have been very pleased, still on the first pair but have put them to work with solvents, stains and hand sanding. No need to take them off when doing some of the finer pick and place operations because they are tough but give a good sense of feel. Minimizes need to take them off. I will buy again and strongly recommend the Ammex 8 mil gloves. Only one problem - I think one box may be a lifetime supply!

I bought these on a recommendation from Andy at boatworkstoday.com and they did not disappoint. I am a big guy with big hands and most gloves I buy at the local auto parts store last about 15 minutes. These will eventually blow out but last much much longer and have great feel. Tip, double up when doing fiberglass so you can peel off the messy glove and still have one on.

These are a heavier gauge than the regular blue nitrile gloves and they have a raised-diamond texture provides powerful grip. These are excellent for sanding and work where a good grip is needed. They won't tear easily and will last. Much better than the regular nitrile gloves.
