Permatex 14 is general-purpose fitting sealant outperforms tapes and pipe dopes, and will not clog lines and valves. Seals and resists pressure in air, oil, diesel fuel and hydraulic systems. Remains pliable at high and low temperatures. Temperature range -65F to 300F (-54C to 149C). Resists common shop fluids.
Note, Teflon® is the Dupont trademark name for PTFE, they are the same thing.
