Installs easy and works great .... for 1 year then leaks appear in the pump housing. I asked around the marina and anyone who has this model has this issue. This is a poor design.

How far will the manual head pump? im trying to decide how far to put my holding tank from the head.

Internal components are not designed for marine environment. Replacement parts costs as much as the price of a new unit, so do not bother to buy them. I replaced my existing Jabsco with a new unit. The new one failed to perform after a few uses, leaking used waters through the pump handle and returning used waters back into the bowl. This makes using TONS of water, filling the holding tank in no time. I would not recommend this to my enemy.

This manual toilet is the industry standard on most American boats today. It is manual and not electric so takes some work but will last forever if you replace the seals every once in a while. It is the best bang for your buck anywhere. The non-compact size is a little bigger but not worth the extra money for 3/4" of seat.
