Ten to fourteen inches in overall length. Carefully forged blades are skillfully heat treated in an immersion bath method to achieve a Rockwell hardness of 61°C.
This means that sharpening the chisels may take a few extra minutes, but they hold an edge significantly longer than almost any other chisel. After heat treating, blades are polished to a rich finish that makes them a joy to use. Fitting appropriate handles is the final step in producing these highest quality German chisels. Set in a fitted wooden box that keeps your chisels protected in storage and ready to use.
